The One Thing You Need to Do This Summer, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

  Summer is right around the corner, and we’re guessing you could not be more excited. Having all that free time to do virtually anything sounds like a dream. While you may have most of your break planned, we know you’ll realistically be spending your days inside binge-watching a ton of different Netflix shows. To make sure you put your time off to good use, we used some telling information provided by your zodiac sign to come up with the one thing you absolutely must do this summer. Aries (March 21 – April 19): Join an Athletic Team

You’re one heck of an active individual, Aries. There’s rarely ever a time when you’re resting, because you prefer to always be on the go. While most will use the summer to recharge and rejuvenate themselves, you should use these next few months to join an athletic team. Whichever sport you want to try, do it. Take this time to get really good at it and then try out for the team at your school. It’ll only help you in the long run.  

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Get a Part-Time Job

Working during the summer isn’t everyone’s idea of fun, but you’re actually all about it. Though you tend to live a more lavish lifestyle than the rest, you enjoy knowing you worked hard for your money. This summer, getting a part-time job will allow you to maintain your frivolous spending habits. We recommend looking for a job at a craft star or even a hardware store, because you love working with your hands. Plus, most of your paycheck will be spent at these types of places anyway.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Learn a New Language

You’re all about learning, Gemini. If you haven’t discovered a new tidbit of knowledge before the end of the day, you consider it wasted. Everyone may choose to spend their days at the beach this summer, but you’d much rather keep filling your brain with tons of fresh facts. Why not take this break to learn a new language then? It’ll keep your brain in tip-top shape when you return to school, meaning you’ll be lightyears ahead of everyone else when it’s time to go back.  

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Go on a Cruise

You tend to overwork yourself and do way too many things for everyone in your life, Cancer. This summer you obviously need to kick your feet up and relax, because you deserve it. Going on a cruise is exactly the type of thing you should spend your vacation doing. You can treat yourself to plenty of spa treatments and fill your stomach with tantalizing seafood buffets. Not to mention, being near water always tends to calm you down. A cruise is the perfect place for you to find your chill.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22): Throw a Beach Party

Being the center of attention is always your top priority, Leo. You just can’t help that you simply adore always having the spotlight on you. The best way to do that this summer? Host a beach party, of course. Come one, come all. Everyone will have a fantastic time at your bash, so much so that it’s all anyone will talk about for the rest of break. Isn’t that all you could ever hope for?

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22): Create a Summer Reading List

You tend to be all work and no play, but that’s just the way you like it. While that lifestyle isn’t for everyone, it suits you swimmingly. Your peers may be living it up at the beach, but you’d much rather stay indoors, reading a good book. So take the summer to catch up on some novels you haven’t had time to check out. Start your reading list now, because we’re guessing it’s going to be a pretty lengthy one.

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22): Go Camping With Friends

The social butterfly of the zodiac, you have an extensive list of friends. You can, and usually do, befriend just about everyone you meet. Use the summer to introduce your pals from various groups to one another. We suggest organizing a group camping trip where everyone can get to know each other a bit better. It’ll be so much fun, but a lot of planning. We know you’re up for the challenge, though.  

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21): Visit an Amusement Park

You’re a thrill-seeker, Scorpio. Though you may seem calm, cool and collected, you thoroughly enjoy when you’re pushed out of your comfort zone. After all, life begins where your comfort zone ends. Get your adrenaline rush on this summer by hitting up a few amusement parks and riding all of their death-defying attractions. You’ll be terrified, but in the best way possible. What more could you ask for?

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21): Put Your Passport to Good Use

The traveler and adventurer of the zodiac, summer is your absolute favorite season. It allows you to be free to explore the furthest regions of the globe and take in all the world has to offer. Obviously, you can’t not put your passport to good use during your break. Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19): Host a Family Reunion

Family is the single most important thing in the world to you. You love them more than anyone and are willing to do just about anything for them. When it comes to your life decisions, you always think about how it will affect your family first and foremost, before carrying out anything. So why not take the summer to host a family reunion to remind them they’ll always be your No. 1? It doesn’t have to be anything too grand, but it’ll be nice to spend some time with family members you don’t get to see all that often.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18): Volunteer in Your Community

You’re all about making the world a better place and being a champion for change, Aquarius. With the heavy course load you have, volunteering during the school year isn’t something you can do. But now that school’s out for summer, you have all the time to volunteer with an organization you believe is doing some much needed good for the world.
